LightSpeed Setup File *NEW*

Please be aware in order to use this updated version of the LightSpeed application, you must be using the newest LightSpeed firmware. Please contact Stenovations support for assistance with this. Updating the firmware is best done via a high speed internet connection.

Please follow these steps when upgrading your LightSpeed Application:

  1. Click Start, then Control Panel
  2. Double Click "Add or Remove Programs"
  3. Click on "LightSpeed Writer", then on the corresponding "Change/Remove"
  4. Then click "Next", "Uninstall", then "Finish". Restart your computer.
  5. Plug in your LightSpeed writer
  6. Download the appropriate LightSpeed Setup File
  7. Run the setup file
  8. For Firmware Updater instructions, please refer to the newest version of the user manual available in the downloads above. This is an advanced step that we only recommend doing with assistance from support at Stenovations.

Warranty Information

LightSpeed writers are covered by a one year warranty that is annually extendable for a fee. LightSpeeds may be returned within a 90-day period. A 15% restocking fee applies to all refunds.
