Gosh, I sure would LOVE some sort of even txt document that is released with each version that tells us what's new with each new version.

Hi ...!

Well, I discovered one unwelcome addition: The new build will not run on a Mac under VMWare Fusion or Parallels. Have not tested with Boot Camp, but I suspect that will work okay.

Basically, when I installed the latest update over my working-just-five-minutes-ago copy of Build 192, I got a little dialog box chastising me for running digitalCAT under a virtual machine:

Then, when it finished installing, it put up this window:

Note the lack of license code to give to Support.

Called Support, and after mousing around on my system for a few minutes, the Support guy said, "Wait a minute -- are you on a Mac?" I told him I was, and that's when he told me the new build doesn't work on Macs.

I complained about it to Johnny, but I think that he thinks I'm complaining because of the serial number issue ("We need to protect our software," he wrote) ... so I don't think he quite got what I was actually complaining about -- namely, not being able to install because my laptop doesn't run Windows natively (well, it can; I just prefer not to do that!).

On the plus side, I have all the updaters; I just can't use any after this current one! (*sigh*)
